The house dates to the late 17th century and has a 17th century style garden to the south. It was used as a living museum until 2012.
The chamber has armour mounted on the walls, and a panelled wall with mounted swords. The fireplace has fluted wooden columns supporting a moulded cornice. Above are four carved figures in armour. To the right of the fireplace is an oak staircase with a pierced balustrade.
