Ravensworth Castle, Cross Lane, Lamesley - Gateshead

Medieval castle of which two C14 corner towers and part of its curtain wall survive in poor condition, as well as associated archaeological deposits. A detailed repair scheme for the medieval castle remains began in 2018, with the aim for the repair as a ruin to be undertaken over approximately 5 years.
