Methodist Church, Darlington Street, Wolverhampton - Wolverhampton, City of
Large Methodist Church dating from 1900-01 by Arthur Marshall, built on a previous church. Classical baroque style built in brick and ashlar ground floor and dressings stone. Symmetrical facade with pediment and two stone towers and a large central cupola covered in copper over the main hall with 3-bay tunnel vaults with groin vaulted aisles and a semi-circular balcony. The church complex has undergone many alterations although it also retains many original features. The roof and rainwater goods are in poor condition and ongoing lack of maintenance.
