Trevose Lighthouse, Trevose Head, St Merryn, Cornwall

Trevose Lighthouse was built by Jacob and Thomas Oliver and Sons of Falmouth in 1847. The circular tower is approximately 87 feet high with a parapet walkway and lantern, topped by a weathervane. There are also 2 low, single storey, blocks of living accommodation where the lighthouse keepers would have lived when the lighthouse was manned. A fog horn signal was installed in 1882.
