St Michael's Hospital, Caswton Road, Aylsham, Norfolk

This building was originally the Aylsham Workhouse. It was built between 1848-9 to a corridor plan designed by William J Donthon. It could accommodate 600 inmates. It was later known as the Aylsham Public Assistance Institution (c1930). The buildings then housed St Michael's Hospital. In the early 21st century the buildings were unused.
