Sir Bernard Lovell Telescope, Goostrey, Cheshire

The Sir Bernard Lovell telescope was built in 1952-57. It was designed by engineers Husband and Company of Sheffield to the requirements of Sir Bernard Lovell. When built it was the largest fully steerable radio telescope in the world. It is at the Jodrell Bank Laboratory.
