Countess of Chester Hospital, Upton by Chester, Cheshire

This hospital was built as the Cheshire County Lunatic Asylum. It was built in 1827-9 to designs by William Cole Junior. It is built in a U-shaped, classical-style corridor-plan. It was meant for 90 patients.
