The Social and Economic Value of the Marine Historic Environment: Issues and Opportunities

This report is an initial review of the social and economic contribution of tangible marine and maritime heritage to England. The report focuses on the commissioned consultant's view of the role for Historic England in further understanding and promoting these values. This project builds on previous work with a wider remit, "The Social and Economic Benefits of Marine and Maritime Cultural Heritage", which was commissioned by the Honor Frost Foundation. Antony Firth of the consultancy Fjordr carried out this commissioned project.
