Description

Photography of London, including street scenes, markets, shops and buildings. This series does not contain photographs of Hampstead, Highgate or Highgate Cemetery; these are in the series 'Hampstead, Highgate and Highgate Cemetery'. Any photograph taken for the book 'London Observed' was taken in the 2 1/2 years prior to its publication in June 1964.
