GV II House now hotel. Mid C19. Yellow brick with rendered plinth; hipped slate roof; 2 brick chimneys, 2 storeys; 5 first-floor windows, symmetrical. End bays defined by pilasters. C20 glazed porch masks part-glazed double doors, overlight with glazing bars and rendered pilasters. Tall windows, have flat- headed sashes with glazing bars under segmental gauged brick arches. C20 glazed passage to right connects with No. 8 Newmarket Road (q.v.).
