10/36 2 grave slabs (Burgon, Robuck) approx 5 metres west of south porch of Church of All Saints

GV II

Two grave slabs. c1736, c1702. Sandstone slabs. The most easterly slab has four elliptical panels with decorated borders and is dedicated to John Robuck and his three wives:

Judith wife of John Robuck daughter of Meller Robert late of Rycroft d.

October 1st day 16(9)4

Martha second wife of John Robuck and daughter of Thomas Wolfenden of Wakefield d. 12th May 1697.

Lydia third wife of John Robuck d. 6th March 1736.

John Robuck, Parish of Cawth.orne d. 23rd March 1736 aged 90 years.

The other slab has simple decoration at the top and a line surround and is dedicated to:

Martha daughter of Thomas Burgon d. 27th February 1702 aged 21 years. A verse follows. And Elizabeth wife of Joseph Warson of Cawthorne d. 19th April 1742 aged 48 years.
