Row of 6 cottages. c.1820-30, in several builds; altered. Red brick in English garden wall bond, slate roof. Double-depth plan, each cottage single-fronted. Two storeys, a 6-window range, with round-headed doorways (except Nos.168 and 172, which are square-headed) and altered doors; 3-light casement windows (except No.168 which has an early C20 2-storey canted bay, and No.162 which has 2-light windows), all those at ground floor segmental-headed. Chimneys on front slope of roof (that at No.166 further down than the others). Rear and interior not inspected.
