2 houses, or house with attached stable or shippon. C18, altered. No.100 is of whitewashed hand-made brick with stone slate roof, No.102 is brown brick in English garden wall bond (irregular) with slate roof. Single-depth plan, one and 2 units respectively. EXTERIOR: No.102 is a 2-storey; 2-window range. Almost symmetrical, with segmental-headed openings: a doorway off-set slightly right with a 4-panel door and protected by a small C20 porch, 6/6 unhorned sashes with exposed boxes, and gable chimneys. No.100, attached to the right and slightly lower, has a 3-light small-paned sliding sash window at ground floor, a square-headed doorway with a board door to the right, no opening at first-floor of the facade, but a 3-light sliding sash attic window in the right-hand gable wall. INTERIOR: not inspected. Forms group with Nos 96 & 98 (qv) to the right and rear, with Entrance Gates to Meols Hall to the left (qv), Hesketh Arms (qv) opposite.
