SESSAY - SE 47 NE 4/27 Barn forming east side of farmyard at Bruce House 11.8.87 II Barn. Probably late C18. Red-brown brick; pantile roof. 5 bays. South side: central projecting cart-entry under continuation of roof slope has double board doors. 3 tiers of slit vents, some blocked; inserted window on right; dentilled eaves course on table. Rear: opposing cart-entry; slit vents. Interior: principal rafter roof trusses have braced queen posts and curved collars. Left return: slit vents in gable. Later attached farm buildings not of special interest.
