SHOTTESWELL CHURCH LANE SP4245 (West side) 10/157 Barn approx. 10m. SW of Church Farmhouse

GV II

Barn. Late C17/C18. Regular coursed ironstone. Corrugated asbestos roof with coped gable parapet. 5 bays. Front to road has central doorway, without doors.

Fourth bay has doorway with wood lintel above ground level. Right return side has pitch opening and gable parapet. Front to farmyard has central sliding door.

Plank door on left. Wood lintels. Interior: stone wall, probably later, dividing off 2 bays, possibly used as stable. Collar and tie beam trenched purlin roof.
