3049 APPLESHAW APPLESHAW 7/2 Manor House Lodge II

Lodge at the entrance to the Manor House. Early C19, with early C20 addition.

Rendered walls, and slate roof. A single-storeyed dwelling, of rectangular form ending as a -octagon at the west end (next to the driveway entrance) where it is set back beneath a verandah, supported on slim square posts.

The roof is hipped at the angles, and is formed of fish-scale slates. Plain walls, with eaves fascia and plinth. Metal coupled casements. -glazed door in the inner corner of the verandah. To the rear, there is a C20 extension, in conforming style. The building is constructed against the churchyard wall.
