ASHAMPSTEAD BURNTHILL COMMON SU 57 SE 6/2 Walnut Tree Cottage GV II House. C17 with C20 additions. Timber framed with brick nogging and angle braces. Old tile roof half hipped to right, C20 projecting gabled cross wing off-centre to right with tile hung first floor and 2 diamond leaded casements. 4 gabled dormers to left with 2-light diamond leaded casements, and 3 ridge stacks. 5 framed bays to left. 1 1/2 storeys. 5 ground floor C20 diamond leaded casements to left of cross wing, 3 of 2 lights and 2 of one light, and two C20 leaded casements to right. Boarded door flanked by two C20 leaded casements in cross wing; C20 gabled timber framed porch between third and fourth windows from left with boarded door.
