1291A GRASMERE Underhelm Farmhouse NY 30 NW 7/74 12.1.67. II GV 2. Perhaps C16, altered later. Lime-washed roughcast over stone rubble, slate roof with 2 chimneys. 2 storeys. Centre glazed and boarded door, 2 casement windows on ground floor and 3 above, with slate dripstone over part of ground floor. Lower part to right was probably once a farm building, now used as a part of the house, with modern windows.

Underhelm Cottage. Underhelm Farmhouse and Barn to north of Underhelm Farmhouse form a group.
