Mid C19 pair. Each house 3 storeys and basement, 3 windows. Recessed centre bays hold entrances. Moderately low pitched, hipped, slate roof with deep, bracketted eaves soffit. Roof broken back over centre section. Yellow stock brick. Banded, rusticated stucco ground floor and basement. lst and 2nd floor cill strings.

Moulded architraves to sash windows with margin lights. Ground and lst floor windows have bracketed cills; and those on 1st floor have frieze and cornice.

Round arched windows in centre section. Doors well recessed in simple paired porches with modified entablature and parapet. 8 steps to half glazed double doors.

Nos 1 to 37 (odd) including Gatepiers and walls to No 1, form a group.
