Row of 9 tall villas of early-mid C19, each 3 storeys and basement, 2 windows, with set-back one-storey entrance links. Stock brick with wide recess on axis and rebated angles. Fairly low-pitched pyramidal slated roofs with eaves soffit.
Banded rusticated stuccoed basements. Gauged brick arches to sash windows with glazing bars, flat except for ground floor which are round-headed in round-arched recesses. Eight steps to doors of 6 panels with patterned fanlights, set back in porch links with square columns and entablature. No 34 has GLC blue plaque: DAVID COX, 1785-1859, artist, lived here.
