Detached house. Possibly C16 origins, much modified later and with C20 extensions.
Some square paned braced timber-framing with rendered panels to front wall, brick gable wall to right of early block, rendered brick to extensions and gables; plain tile roof, some clay, some concrete small brick stack. Original cottage in centre bays narrow depth cross passage with external stack to left, not contained within large extension left; set-back 2-storey extension to right some flat-roofed extensions to rear. One storey and attic, 5 bays. One 3-light and three 2-light casement gabled dormers over four 2-light casements. Far left pair of glazed doors, and off-centre right a glazed door under C20 glazed pent porch. Set back portion has 2-light casements.
Back has large swept-down roof, C20 casements.
Interior: (from photographs) retains one pair heavy crucks to diagonal ridge and heavy framed wall to left of cross passage. Fireplaces replaced. Bread oven with cast iron door to external stack, now in end room to left.
