ASHLEWORTH LAWN ROAD SO 82 NW (north side) 2/9 St. Michaels, Nupend House and Lychgate Cottage II Former rectory, now 3 houses. Circa 1845 for Rev Attwood.

Coursed, squared stone with ashlar dressings, fishscale tiled roof.

Three-window front, 2 1/2 storeys, two rooms deep, 2-window, 2-storey wing on right: plan irregular. Entrance front: 2 gables of different projection, slight recess between: plain plinth. Three- light mullion and transom window on left, hoodmould, square stops; single-storey porch projects slighty on right, boarded door up 2 stone steps, Tudor-arch, leaf decoration in spandrels, hoodmould with circular stops, parapet gable over containing datestone.

Single-storey rectangular bay to right, paired 2-light mullion and transom windows, crenellated parapet. Two 2-light mullion and transom windows right wing. First floor, 3-light mullion and transom window, hoodmould, circular stops in left and right gables, 2-light mullion set back above porch. Two 2-light mullioned windows first floor wing on right. Gables to front each with 2- light mullioned window, slit above, parapet gables with cross- gablet apex; chimney on left ridge 4 diamond-set flues with moulded caps, 3 square set flues on single base on right return higher section: parapet gable with similar chimney right end lower wing.
