1/31 Apley Chest Tomb, 16 yards south of Chancel of St. Andrew's G.V. Church II

Chest tomb. Sarah Apley, died 1812. Sandstone ashlar. Inscribed panels with enriched surrounds; corner balusters; moulded plinth and cornice. The chest tombs represent a good collection of local and classical tomb forms and contribute greatly to the setting of the church.
