1932/4 by C H James and Charles Holden. Symmetrically planned building with high rectangular ticket hall and one storey entrance portico flanked by shops. Multi- coloured stock brick walls with reinforced-concrete roofs and ring beams. Flat roof with projecting eaves and plain concrete band below. Metal windows with horizontal oblong panes. Entrance portico with projecting reinforced-concrete canopy. Reinforced-concrete, plain cantilevered canopy on platform.

Oakwood Station and the sign form a group.
