House. Mid or late C15 timber frame with late C16, mid-C17 and early C19 additions. Plaster, painted brick, old tile roof. 3 bays. 2 storeys with cellar on N. W elevation with gables each end, Ground and 1st floor early C19 sash windows. Jettied on curved brackets on S. Door towards N, below C17 chimneystack, with wide planks and plain porch. Mid-late C17 square window bay with brick base and 10 lights, mullioned and transomed with ovolo mouldings. It is flanked on left by 2-light window with ovolo centre and diamond side-mullions, and on right by 2-light leaded casement with ovolo mullion. 1st floor, central, C17/18, 4- light, mullioned, diamond-leaded casement. Wing to W on N side, 2 bays, nearest is C16 having on N side Ground floor, 3-light, diamond-mullioned window and 2 1st floor, 5-light, diamond mullioned windows.

Interior of main block has crown post roof to centre bay, octagonal with moulded capital and base. Ground floor with late C16 moulded floor beam and fireplace lintel. N wing remodelled mid/late C17 with fireplace and moulded floorbeam. (RCHM Typescript).
