Description

This information is taken from the statutory List as it was in 2001 and may not be up to date.

ST 8032-8132 MERE SALISBURY STREET (north side)

6/67 Blue Rider

GV II

House and shop in street row. C18 or earlier. Coursed limestone rubble, plain tile roof, brick stack, left. Two storeys, 2 windows; at first floor are 9-pane sashes at the outer wall face, and offset right in the facade; ground floor has two 4-pane casements flanking a part-glazed door; entrance right a plank door to through-way. Interior not inspected, but the offset fenestration and steep, long roof slope suggests an earlier building than the front now shows.
