Public House. C17 with later additions and alterations. Timber framed and plastered. Thatched roof with 2 curved dormers and C19 casements. One storey and attics. 2 window range of small paned vertical sliding sashes. Enclosed, thatched gabled porch with C20 vertically boarded door. Central red brick chimney stack and red brick chimney stack to single storey thatched extension to left. There is also a single storey forward crosswing extension to left, of matching materials and with a semi-circular C20 bay window to front. Date plaque to front wall reads 1685.
