GV II

Bank. c1905. Snecked sandstone with ashlar dressings and stone slate roof. Tudor style. Single storey at front, with basement storey at rear. The facade has a plinth, a string course above the windows, and a moulded eaves course. The windows are mullioned, with double hollow chamfers. Towards the left there are windows of one and 3 lights, with a corbelled chimney rising above the wall between them. To the right is a gable, with coping and finial. It has a 3-light window at the left (with cash dispenser below) and a moulded Tudor-arched doorway to the right. The right-hand return wall has mullioned windows, a chimney rising between 2 gables, and a corbelled chimney towards the right. The rear gable of the rear wing has 2 windows of 2 lights with transoms. INTERIOR: not inspected. Said to have timber roof, 3 large stone 4-centred arches on brackets, a Gothic fireplace with castellated canopy, and panelled walls.
