1864, by F Chancellor. Ornate 'High Victorian' classical facade of symmetrical form. 3 storeys, 5 windows. Yellow brick walling with Bath stone dressings.
Parapet with large moulded cornice (with dentils) supported on bold carved brackets.
2nd floor openings have architraves with cambered heads, and cills which continue as projections (on brackets) of a weathered band. 2nd floor openings have an arched panel above the square heads, supported at the sides by Corinthian caps above plain pilasters. 1st floor moulded band with dentils, with Corinthian pilasters framing the plain openings (with keystones), above plinth; moulded panels below cills. Victorian sashes. Tall chimneys are capped with the parapet cornice.
