PARISH OF EDENSOR EDENSOR LANE SK 24/2569-24/2570 7/109 (North side) Moor View GV II

House. c1912, possibly by Romaine-Walker. Arts & Crafts style.

Small blocks of coursed squared sandstone and ashlar. Plain tile hipped and gabled roof. Two brick ridge stacks and a stack just off the ridge. Two storeys. South elevation of five bays with centre gabled bay advanced. Outer bays gabled. Off-centre flat-roofed porch with panelled door. To the right a 3-light and a larger 3-light small pane casement. To the left are two 4-light and a 3-light casement. The first floor has a 3-light casement in the centre, flanked by 4-light and 3-light casements. In the centre gable a rectangular breather and in the outer gables decorative stone lozenge panels made up of four small lozenges. Included for group value only.
