Two houses, built as one in mid C16. 2 storeys, 3 windows. Timber-framed, encased at the front in C19 painted brick. Plaintiled roof with rear chimneys of gault and red brick. Mid C19 large-pane sashes, those at the ground storey having painted lintels of cornice form. No.13 has a C19 shop window with large panes and a canopy on console-brackets. 4-panelled C19 entrance doors to both houses, that to No.13 having an oblong fanlight. Timber-framing largely concealed, but the building originally was long-wall jettied towards the street. Plain quite complete crownpost roof.
