MIDHURST NORTH STREET (west side) SU 8821 21/17 The Almshouses - - II

A late C16 foundation. The building rebuilt in 1840. Early Victorian Tudor gothic style. Stone. Tiled roof. Casement windows and two 4-centred doorways with dripmoulds over. One storey and attic. 4 windows. 4 gable dormers. Inscriptions over doorways with Gothic lettering. 'Erected AD 1578 Restored AD 1840'.
