C20 crosswing at NW end, with 2 chimney stacks in NW wall. Single storey lean-to extension with slate roof at NW side. Single storey lean-to extension with slate roof against NE wall of hall between the crossings. Crosswings of 2 storeys, hall single storey with attics. SW elevation, ground floor, C20 door in position of original front door, 3 C20 casement windows. First floor, 2 more, of which one is in a C20 gabled dormer. Some framing exposed internally. Jowled posts.

Inserted floor in hall, late C16, consisting of transverse beam and longitudinal joists of vertical section, plain chamfered with concave-plus-bar stops, supported on clamps. Roof of hall rebuilt, re-using many smoke-blackened rafters with trenches for a crownpost roof. The SE crosswing is the sevice end, originally with a partition between 2 ground floor rooms, the partition now removed. The central post of its till side exhibits rebates for twin doors opening inwards, and mortices for 2 missing doorheads. The beam is plain chamfered with step stops. The joists are of horizontal section, originally unchamfered, but with C20 chamfers and stops copied from the (later) inserted floor of the hall. The roof is of crownpost construction, with arched braces to the central tiebeam. The central crownpost has 2 curved braces down to the tiebeam, and 2 arched braces to the collar-purlin.
