House. Mid C17 front range with a rear parallel range added early C18. Re-faced early C19. Brick, rendered and whitewashed to facade. Roofs of corrugated tiles. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys and dormer attic; 4-window range. Rusticated quoins. Central C19 panelled door with 2 glazed panels. Two 2/2 unhorned sashes right and left, and 2 pairs of similar sashes above. Gabled roof with internal gable-end stacks, both truncated. The south gable shows a butt join between ranges. The rear wall is early C18 and has burnt headers and a moulded platband between the floors. The ground floor had 2 tripartite early C19 sashes, the north one partially blocked by the mid C19 one-storey extension added to the north. 3 first-floor 2/2 horned sashes, the middle one blocked with brick. The C19 extension has 2 doors and 2 casements, a sloping roof and 2 stacks. The main elevation has a gabled roof with a sloping dormer and an internal gable-end stack to the south. INTERIOR: the front range has 2 blocked ovolo-moulded mullioned windows at first floor rear, blocked when the rear range added. Ground-floor south room with large-framed early C18 fielded panelling of high quality. Doors to rear wing and to winder staircase similar, as is door in east wall concealing a varnished and painted shell cupboard. Minor Adamesque fire surround under an overmantel painted with grisaille harbour scene. The north room has an ovolo-moulded bridging beam. First-floor south room with plain large-framed panelling and boxed bridging beam. Fireplace with egg-and-dart decoration and shouldered surround. The north room has a bolection-moulded fireplace. The roofs have been replaced in C20.
