Statue of Charity. Probably 1702. Repaired 1960. Restored by English Heritage 1987. Painted cast lead. Brick plinth of 1987. The sculpture is of a nearly life-size female figure of Charity dressed in drapery carrying an infant in her right arm and shielding a child standing by her left leg.
