A late C18-early C19 timber-framed and plastered building formerly Bocking Workhouse. 2 storeys and attics. The cross wing at the north end has casements and some horizontal sliding sashes on the north east front and 1 window range on the north west end, double hung sashes with glazing bars. The main block, north west front, has 4 window range, early C19 metal casements with glazing bars. The ground storey windows are in pairs, with "Gothic" arched heads. Roofs tiled, steeply pitched. The cross-wing roof is mansard.
