LONGHIRST OLD MOOR NZ 28 NW 9/49 Old Moor Farmhouse GV II
House, c.1840 on earlier site. Squared tooled stone with ashlar dressings; blue slate roof. 2 storeys, 2 wide bays, symmetrical. Central doorway, with basket arch and broad chamfered surround, now with C20 small-paned glazing inserted. On ground floor 3-light chamfered mullioned windows with hoodmoulds and old 18-pane casements. 1st floor corbelled-out half dormers with similar 2-light windows (15 pane casements). Projecting eaves course; half dormers and end gables are coped with moulded kneelers. Stepped and corniced end stacks corbelled out. Twin rear wings with similar detail. C20 extension with porch to rear right not of interest.
