MITFORD B 6524 NZ 18 SE (North side) 4/13 Garden walls and rails to east, south and west of West Edington Farmhouse GV II

Garden walls and rails, second quarter of C19. Squared tooled stone with cut dressings, cast iron. Low front wall has chamfered coping, carrying spiral standards with spiked mace heads, linked by 2 rails. Central gateway has slender octagonal stone piers and C20 wrought-iron gate. Taller side walls have flat coping ramped down at south end; similar walls on north return link with northern angles of farmhouse (q.v.).
