House, now office. c1830, with late C19 rear wing. Brick with plaster and ashlar dressings; hipped slate roof with brick end stacks. Double-depth plan with central stair. 2 storeys; 5-window range. Ashlar plinth; 1st floor sill course; plain eaves; plaster angle pilasters. Windows have friezes and consoled cornices over 12-pane horned sashes; canted bay to left has 3 sashed windows, sill course and cornice. Central entrance has distyle in antis porch with plaster gable and channelled rustication to interior flanking round-headed entrance with architrave and stained glass fanlight over half-glazed door. Rear has sashed windows and 2 round-headed windows with intersecting heads to small-paned glazing; single-storey range has segmental-headed casements and entrance to left. INTERIOR: front rooms have rich plaster cornices, with rosettes to left, vine trail to right; stair has slender iron balusters and wreathed handrail.
