Coursed millstone grit, stone slate roof. 3 storeys, 9 windows. C20 casements; with stone lintels and projecting cills. Door to right in plain stone surround.
To rear, round stone chimney approx 40 feet high. C19 additions to left and right, those to right lower and partly masking taking-in door in right gable of main block. The chimney was added when the mill was converted from water to steam power. One of the earliest cotton mills in Yorkshire and now probably the best remaining early example.
