Description

The construction of Victoria Street took place between 1867 and 1871. It was part of a programme of road and rail improvements, and was designed to link the Bank with the Victoria Embankment, from which easy access could be made to Westminster.

This is a copy negative. The English Heritage Archive does not hold the original negative.
