The collection comprises thirteen lantern slides by an anonymous photographer, showing public houses before and after rebuilding. The buildings depicted are: The Broadway Hotel (formerly the Freeman Arms), Wimbledon; The Prince of Wales, Drury Lane, City of Westminster; The World Turned Upside Down, Old Kent Road, Southwark; The Three Fishes, Kingston upon Thames; The Angel Inn, Fore Street, Edmonton; and The Brunswick Hotel in Worthing. There is also one lantern slide of The Cock Inn in Cockfosters.
Twelve of the lantern slides have prints in the Red Box Collection. The same twelve slides have copy negatives in the run AA71/03687 - AA71/03698. A handlist is available.
