The collection contains seventy-six drawings of stained glass quarries, drawn by Reverend Christopher Woodforde. Many were published in his book entitled ‘Stained Glass in Somerset 1250-1830’, dated 1946. Thirteen of the drawings are from Wells Cathedral, where Woodforde was dean, along with quarries from churches in Somerset, Avon, Gloucestershire, and Dorset. A handlist is available.

There are also photographic negatives taken by Reverend Woodforde, also of stained glass. These form series two.
