Former Church of St Bartholomew, Village Street, Covenham St. Bartholomew - East Lindsey
Former church, late C14 - early C15. St Bartholomew's is the earlier of two churches in the village and may have served as a pre-Conquest minster church. Restored 1854-5 and 1863-4, The fabric is chalk and greenstone with brick patching. Roofs leak and rainwater goods and drains are largely ineffective. There is damp, water ingress and structural movement. Trustees secured Historic England Covid 19 Emergency Heritage at Risk funds in 2020, covering urgent structural repairs, and the re-roofing of the south transept. A Historic England grant for development activities was awarded in 2022.
