Amphitheatre in grounds of Saltram House, Merafield Road, Plympton - Plymouth, City of (UA)

Late C18 screen wall fronting rock-cut grottos overlooking the River Plym. Surrounding rock faces have become unstable and are subject to collapse. A condition survey of the structure has recently been undertaken, and the owners are in the process of updating their conservation management plan for the Saltram Estate. However, no physical repair works are believed to have been undertaken yet.
