Brampton Manor Barn, Old Hall Road - Chesterfield

Late C16/early C17 barn with massive cruck trusses under a stone and slate roof. Multiple slate failures allowing water to penetrate and significant cracking (historic) to gable elevation. The barn suffered vehicle damage in 2019. Planning permission granted in December 2021 for the residential conversion of the adjacent grade II pub/restaurant. This includes Conditions requiring the repair and consolidated of the Barn, which will be sympathetically converted to garages. We anticipate works on site in 2023 / 2024
