Tonedale Mills (west complex), Wellington - Somerset Council (UA)

Western complex of an integrated multi-component wool textile factory, now largely disused. Consent was granted for mixed use redevelopment of the complex. Works halted on site in 2008 and previous owners went into receivership leaving some buildings in a very vulnerable condition. The site has had some work carried out but buildings are deteriorating rapidly. A section 215 notice has been served and as of early 2020 only partially complied with. Discussions between the local authority, Historic England and the owner concerning the future of the site and its conservation are ongoing.
