Cambridge Hall, Cambridge Avenue, Kilburn NW6 - Brent
Built in 1863 as St James's Episcopal Chapel. It is a prefabricated structure of corrugated iron with boarded roof covered in corrugated asbestos. Since 1920 it has been the home of the Willesden & St Marylebone Cadet Corps, which converted the interior to resemble a boat, in itself of historic interest. In 2020 Historic England awarded a Covid-19 Emergency Heritage at Risk Response Fund grant for high priority repairs. Discussions and an options appraisal, funded by Historic England, are ongoing, prior to seeking funding for full repair.
