The Boat Store, Sheerness Dockyard, Sheerness - Swale
Boat store, built in 1859. Since the destruction of the Crystal Palace and the first South Kensington Museum, this is the earliest surviving example of a multi-storey iron-frame and panel structure. Its condition is rapidly deteriorating. Discussions with the Local Planning Authority and Port Company about its repair and reuse are on-going.
