Old Church of St John the Baptist, Moulton Lane, Boughton - West Northamptonshire (UA)
Ruined church of Norman origin with C14 and C15 material. Nave, chancel and aisles partially survive but have suffered as a result of extensive, deep rooted ivy growth in the past and suffer, more generally, from antisocial behaviour. Historic England grant aided vegetation removal and stone consolidation in 2017-18. St John's was subsequently removed from the register. There have been some localised mortar failures. Vandalism in May 2019 prompted re-addition to the register. Historic England has worked with church representatives to consider the problems.
